Description of the trip

Our motorcycle journey begins in Slovenia, where we set off along the legendary Adriatic Highway – one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Europe. Riding by the sea, through countless curves and with stunning views of the deep blue Adriatic, we make our way to Neum, where we enjoy our first well-deserved stop by the coast.

From there, the route continues through Bosnia and Herzegovina and into Montenegro.

Once we cross the border into Albania, the real adventure begins. This is a land of contrasts – where majestic mountains descend into turquoise bays, and the roads wind through wild yet breathtaking landscapes. We ride the famous SH20 road, considered one of the most scenic routes in the Balkans – a ride that every motorcyclist falls in love with.

Our journey takes us across the entire length of Albania, from north to south. Along the coast, we visit the magical town of Ksamil, where the Ionian Sea shimmers in shades of turquoise, and then continue inland through places such as Kukësand Korçë, where we experience authentic Albanian hospitality, excellent local cuisine, and the true spirit of exploration.

After exploring Albania’s diverse roads and towns, we head back north and stop in Ulcinj, a popular seaside town in Montenegro, where we relax and enjoy a peaceful evening by the sea.

We conclude our journey in Mostar, a city full of soul and tradition. We stroll across the iconic Old Bridge, soak up the oriental atmosphere of the old town, and – as is tradition – treat ourselves to the best baklava of the trip.

On the final day, we ride comfortably back to Slovenia via the highway, filled with impressions, experiences, and memories of an authentic, diverse, and unforgettable motorcycle adventure through the Balkans.

This journey combines adventure, stunning roads, culture, nature, and cuisine – everything motorcyclists appreciate most on the open road.
