Description of the trip
Our French adventure will begin in Ljubljana, from where we will ridee through Austria and Switzerland to Paris.
After a one-day stop in Paris, we will ride to Normandy, where we will visit Le Havre and Caen and see the beaches and the museum of the Allied landings in June 1944.
We will continue west into Brittany and reward our efforts with a visit to the world-famous monastery of Mont Saint Michel and see some more beautiful Brittany villages, including the monoliths of Carnac and the Quiberon peninsula.
Riding east along the Loire River we will visit one of the most beautiful castles, Chateau Chambord.
Our return to Slovenia will be via Geneva, Chamonix, the Aosta Valley and Lake Garda.
